- As we recovered from jetlag, RunYi had her first dentist appointment. We found out at the dentist that she needed 5 crowns and had 8 cavities. Yikes! We had to schedule the dental work for August because I didn’t get her enrolled on our dental plan when I needed to…great job, mom!
- First visit to our pediatrician, where we were told that he was unsure of the cerebral palsy diagnosis…what? Possibly looking at a neuromuscular condition instead. This was unsettling.
- We headed to St. Louis to see the nurse practitioner for our neurologist. We were told that most likely RunYi did have cerebral palsy, just not a typical presentation. MRI was ordered and that would be definitive of her diagnosis.

- We celebrated her 5th birthday on the 26th, and she loved her cake and the singing.
- We make our first trip to Iowa to see Grammy & Papa and lots of other relatives.
