Lazy Day

Yesterday was a lazy day around the island. We ate breakfast late, and Gavin stayed in the room so I took him "carry away" from the breakfast buffet. Our guide Helen went to the Children's Hospital to get Gavin some medicine: some kind of bath mix (looks and smells like soy sauce) and calamine lotion with menthol. Both are working great and helping him not itch too bad. It was rainy and steamy hot yesterday. The humidity was so high the floors were sweating in the shops. We visited Jenny's Place, Sherry's Place and Jordon's yesterday. There are still more shops to visit, which we will do today. A Gift from China was closed on Sunday, so we will go there first, then hit the ones close to the White Swan. The business is so slow for them right now. I have tried to spend a little at each place, spending more at Jordon's yesterday <><. Today we are missing the Buddhist Temple visit and and Folk Art Museum. Although it is a little boring staying on the island, it is a very relaxed pace and we are enjoying the time with RunYi. Gavin is also getting the rest he needs. He just came out of the bath and the pox are drying up! The onese on his face still have a little ways to go, but hopefully tomorrow they will be dried up, too. Keep the pr*yers coming :)!
